Nola Kopfer

Overview

Nola Kopfer, CFA, is the head of global trading for MFS Investment Management (MFS). In this role, she oversees the firm's teams of global equity and global fixed income traders and is responsible for the firm's global trading footprint, which includes trading operations in Boston, Toronto and London. She also serves on the firm's Investment Management and Trading Oversight Management committees. Nola joined MFS in 2019 in her current role. She previously worked for UBS Securities for over two years, most recently serving as executive director and head of Americas Equities Electronic Trading Sales. She spent the first 14-plus years of her career with Goldman, Sachs & Co. focused on implementing and growing the use of electronic trading, including managing the firm's Boston-based electronic trading team. Nola earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Columbia University. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
