Jon N Aliber

Overview

Jonathan Aliber is executive vice president and senior advisor at MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). Before moving into an advisory capacity at the firm in 2024, he was the firm's Chief Technology Officer. In his role as CTO, he was responsible for leveraging information technology to ensure the execution of the business goals and strategies of the firm. He was also responsible for the development and implementation of IT strategies and for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of MFS systems and Investment operations. Jon joined MFS in 2015 as CTO. Previously, he was vice president of information technology in Global Business Services at Raytheon, where he was responsible for leading the strategic and operational support of information technology, focusing on technology integration and efficiency. Before that, he served as executive vice president and chief information security officer for Fidelity Investments. Prior to this role, he held multiple information technology and management positions during his 26 years at Fidelity, leading several technology functions in support of a variety of business areas. Jon earned a Master of Science degree in management information systems from Boston University Questrom School of Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of New Hampshire.
