Suppliers At MFS®

At MFS, we aim to allocate capital responsibly, including when we invest in outside partnerships. We strive to do business with suppliers who share our core values, which focus on collaboration, accountability, diversity and respect.

Responsible business practices

MFS expects our suppliers to share our belief in corporate social responsibility and to follow prudent business practices. That includes treating people with respect and acting with business integrity.

We engage with suppliers who share our commitment to

  • act ethically and obey the laws
  • follow responsible business practices
  • follow responsible employment practices and ensure safe working conditions
  • care for the community and the environment

We commit to fair and open competition under the highest ethical standards when we interact with our suppliers. These standards — professionalism, honesty and integrity — are reflected in our Supplier Code of Conduct. If you collaborate with us as a supplier, this code will help you understand our service expectations. As a supplier, you are asked to review the code and ensure that your employees fully understand and comply with it.

Diversity and Inclusion

Diversity and inclusion are important values at MFS. The purpose of the MFS Supplier Diversity Program is to incorporate and promote these values as we engage with our supplier community.

We believe that a diverse supplier base has many benefits, including driving competition, increasing innovation and ultimately contributing to MFS' competitive advantage.

There are many kinds of diversity, and our goal is to keep all the relevant factors in mind as we source potential suppliers. However, to be included in our Supplier Diversity Program, we ask only that a business meet at least one of these criteria related to ownership and operation:

  • 51% minority-owned and operated
  • 51% woman-owned and operated
  • 51% LGBTQ-owned and operated
  • 51% owned and operated by a member of another recognized community (e.g., people with disabilities, veterans, indigenous people)

The business must have its status certified by a recognized certifying organization such as the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) or the US National Minority Supplier Diversity Council (NMSDC).

MFS Corporate Purchasing seeks to identify qualified, certified diverse vendors to participate in the bidding processes by making use of databases provided by diversity councils and asking interested businesses to self-identify by following the registration process outlined below.

Registration

If your company would like to be considered for inclusion as a supplier, please register by completing this supplier information form. Email it to CorporatePurchasing@mfs.com. We may share the information you provide within MFS, but we will otherwise keep it confidential.
