David A. Falco

Overview

David A. Falco, CFA, is a co-CIO of equity and an equity research analyst at MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). As co-CIO of equity, he partners with the firm's other regional co- CIOs in the research management process and strategy discussions, including by developing investment policies and programs aimed at achieving the investment objectives of MFS and its clients. In his role as an equity research analyst, he is responsible for identifying the most attractive investment opportunities in his assigned universe, working closely with portfolio managers to ensure ideas are properly positioned within portfolios. He is based in London. David joined MFS in 2011 as an equity research analyst before assuming his current position in 2025. He previously served as an equity research associate at Capital Group for five years, as an assistant portfolio manager at Citigroup for two years and as a fund manager's assistant at Schroders for four years. He began his career in the financial services industry in 1999. David holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute.
