Jeanine L. Thomson

Overview

Jeanine L. Thomson is co--chief investment officer of equity for Asia and a portfolio manager at MFS Investment Management® (MFS®). In her role, she partners with the firm's other regional co- CIOs in the research management process and strategy discussions, including developing investment policies and programs that achieve the investment objectives of MFS and its clients. She is based in Singapore. Jeanine joined MFS in 2016 as an equity research analyst. She became a communication manager in 2018, assumed sector leader responsibilities in 2019 and assumed her current role in 2020. Before that, she spent 11 years as an equity research analyst at Oaktree Capital Management, six years as an equity research analyst at Merrill Lynch and one year as an investment analyst at BT Funds Management NZ. Jeanine earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with honors from the University of Otago.
